I love that Bacon worked from photographs and his paintings function in some ways as autobiographical narratives, and I just wanted to share a few examples. George Dyer was Francis Bacon's lover and muse from 1963 until Dyer's overdose in 1971. Bacon continued to paint Dyer obsessively even after his death.
